Karlon: why did you choose this topic

Victor: When I was attending high school, i took a class called earth science, and the teacher would always talk about how long we have left until the earth is destroyed by the high sea level caused by global warming.

Victor: I would like to know how it can be stopped, and what is the main cause of it.

Karlon: Do you agree that it is just a phrase?

Victor: NO...

Victor: 70 degrees, in January last year. The t-storms have been more severe and constantly , and there was a tornado in the city. Its definitely not a phrase.

Wilk's Freshman Essay.

"A mind is a terrible thing to waste". This is a catch phrase that we are all familiar with. Taking this idea in another direction, I would say that literacy is a terrible thing to waste. Literacy is a gift just as any other admirable trait is, and it should be used with thought and responsibility. This is something that took me my entire high school career to learn.

"The mind has the ablitiy to create extraordinary ideas". A catch phrase that many are familiar with. Taking this idea in another direction, I would say that literarcy becomes a horrible thong to waste. A gift such as Literarcy has admirable traits, and it should be used with thought and responsibility.

Describe, in detail, how you have acted as an autodidact, similarly to the way Malcolm X has. Describe the importance of what you taught yourself.

Something that i've taught myself was how to play the Bass guitar. At the age of 13 I found myself enjoying the sound the bass gave off, from the E-string to the G-string and form then on I started to teach myself how to play as a little hobby. Teaching myself how to play the guitar was probably the only thing that keep going. There wass other things that caught my interest, but i knew i could go further getting better at playing my bass.
I believe that the significants of this autodidact is if i were to end up down and out, I may still have something rely on to pick myself up and start over.
BUT I HOPE I DONT HAVE TO USE THE SKILL THAT I TAUGHT MYSELF TO MAKE CHUMP CHANGE.
